A laugh came over the door, an old cackle sounded like a witch aching through the stone entry way out of the collapsed wooden doors. Frost covered them vastly reaching over the shattered debris, stone wood metal clustered over the front lawn frozen. For one spot to remain warm.
"Hehehehaha"
The laugh bounced towards the warmth left standing in the array of shattered debris, a warm glow watched the entrance, the bunny titled their head a faint wave and smoke came off it. Black as of coal blew through the cold wind,
"You're the Seraphim that Bal warned of?"
A shrill voice went through the chilly air, a soft thud of a can was heard. The rabbit jumped around and rushed to the broken entry where a hand appeared for it to climb on, its lifted on the man's shoulder white platinum hair obscured it, leaving only a little wave of smoke coming off it, the hand pet the rabbit slowly his head tilted to its owner and he spoke,
"Your the heat thats spread over the centuries, one thats alluded me for almost three years"
He looked up at her the pale flames dancing on the edge of frost, it tried to get pasted the flames to cut it out of air,
"Dont be so dramatic Don," a high strung cackle came from the older woman the white hair blew through the chilly wind her blade skin across the stone and dirt, frost so thick its snow, the blade twirled lifting it into the air scattering,
"Let's finish this fast Bal is hopping for our hands under the strong hold" Caille spoke her white eyes scanned over the place she let out another laugh,
"Ehhehehe is this all you four can handle? One angel and you break? I thought some of you younger lives would have flourished under this invasion"
Caille mocked twisting her sword on to her shoulder, making a cold mist off her shoulder, blue glint in the mist flowed down to their feet, Don watched it partly unbothered petting his rabbit, while keeping his attention on the glowing flames residing only a few feet from them, Caille observed it with ice growing from the mist she looked behind her he as ring heaving breathing, fluid dropping onto the ground. She scanned around seeing Ui on the ground his chest bleeding purposely, his hand clenching onto the gaping wound on his chest the blade degraded in the air faint sparks coming off it, Ethn was on his back face to the shy eyes closed with his wounds being healed by a soft amber glow, Caille scoffed and flicked her blade at them,
"I thought you were doing such a great job but you waited for her to answer your strikes Ui…Ethn your confidence was appalling, try to have some humility before you turn into your mother," Caille sneered
Her eyes caught a tattooed aI'm played over a exposed hip blood coming through the broken cement, she smirked recognizing the tattoos, the small Welsh words across his elbow, she grinned wildly with a high laugh,
"Years of cutting your teeth done nothing for you Taran?" Caille asked
She stepped over the broken door and a waft of black mist followed her. Don saw what Callie did; he didn't mock them, their humiliation was a gift of its own. He held the rabbit closer his eyes stayed on the fire not roaring as it were but controlled, a slash of fire hindered the frost, across the broken yard sparks causing small fires across the yard making a shadow over them, Don used them came over his rabbit,
"Is there a reason you don't show yourself in the flames to us?"
Don asked, his dark eyes scanned over the vast flames flickering across his face, his hand falling onto his side where his pistol is. Caille glanced at him her eyes squinted her lip a snare,
"What's the crap you saying we dont need her form to take her wings," Caille scoffed she swung her sword taking of the flames leaving on in the middle, it shifted the flame it burned silver,
"Now what's this a tribute?"
Caille titled her blade and with out looking slashed through the flames, a cold frost smothered it, she leaned on her right leg looking at the smoldering grass now frozen to the touch, the flame rendered dead from the frozen cut, a woman stood in the middle of the destruction, her face a soft calm and eyes a brilliant shine it resembled stars in their brightest form, white longer hair flowed through the cold drifts of Cailles blessing past her,
"Sandel, correct?" Don asked his rabbit flung at Sandel its mouth aimed at her wrist, the hand that gripped Effervescent, her eyes caught the rabbit she didn't move she lets the rabbit pass through her wrist, a click of a blade sur through the rabbit, it spilt apart a light in the middle, watching the two enforcers she leaned on her left and pushed forward she descended, blade clenched behind her it was broader, it grew in size before it slashed down a thin cut of light engaged them,
"That's what I've been waiting for!"
Callie shouted in excitement her black caught the line, scattered fragments of frost and fire lands on them, the yard and building behind them, Sandel stared at Caille her feet landed a slippery black shadow, Sandel's feet bent in taking her feet from under her, she placed her sword in front of her other hand on top of it casting a burning glow, the shadow spit making her side, Sandel turned her gaze up a blade pierced her chest a cold chill covered her upper half, frost tried to crawl over her,
"Don I didn't need you to bring her right to me" Caille said her laugh faintly, her head leaned down staring straight at Sandel pinned under her, Caille's eyes went white with a faint blue in the middle, a grim smirk that meet cheek to cheek twisting the blade in Sandel's chest,
"I didn't find playing with your food to be accurate time for it"
Don replied dryly pointed his pistol at Sandel over Caille, a wisp of shadow came out of the gun, Sandel witnessed Caille's mocking grin pressing the sword deeper into Sandel feeling it break the other side, Don pressed his finger on the trigger shooting her, the bullets went through her trapping into the ground,
"That should help taking an angel to hell with nothing but a frozen heart and bullet holes in your wings will do nicely"
Don spoke darkly his whole hand cascading in black smoke trailed across the gun over Caille shoulder it dropped over Sandel suffocating her, the glow was gone under his pressure, Don observed her, there wasn't fighting, not breaking through by her blade, no beam of light to cast his shadows aside, Don leaned to Caille and whispered in her ear,
"There's no struggle?"
Caille peered at Don her lip dropped a bit, white and blue eyes squinted and tightened her grip,
"No struggle means they've given up" Caille hissed
"No its a Seraphim not the fragility of a human worm" Don emphasized
"Even a Seraphim parishes to Don"
Callie interrupted her sword cut through Sandel no scream, no grunt of pain just a hollow quite, they watched the silhouette under the blanket of shadows suffocating her, Caille looked at where her sword was a faint light came through the frozen slashed, she glared and snarled to Don,
"shes there that glow can't come from nether of us"
Don scanned over his blessing seeing a faint rabbit head appear from it, a soft whimper came from it, gold glowing eyes cautious flickering into the shadows then at Don, he reached down touching its head something spiked next to him his neck hair burned. His hair caught a heat that bundled the ends as he turned, he grabbed Caille's shoulder turning her with him, her white eyes glared at Don and scoffed,
"Turning me again I can sense the difference in the air Donnie"
Don didn't bother to correct her the heat beside them, burning him, scorching his blessing from the ground up, an iridescent flame crawled over the shadows cutting them off from Dom,
"Was that all you had?"
They turned to the light behind them a small flame looked like its tilted at them, curious flickering in and out with a soft impassive, Don examined it his eyes widen feeling his body busting into flames, he catches the flames climbing his body his hand grabbed something from in the flame, he tried to throw it off him, his eyes widen with every second its on him,
"Rabbit"
The rabbit jumped out of the sending darkness, it catches the condescending fire, it starts to evaporate, its eyes met its master's gaze, Don's nose flared his eyes guilds it to his shoulders hidden in his neck, he felt the burning worsen his skin melting it off, he grabbed his gun when a laugh came from below him,
"A flame that's what her charm is?"
Caille's laughter fell over them the frost tried to smother the flame only for it to be melted away, Callie tilted her blade the bottom touch the flame scattered ice ushered forth only to make steam in its master's wishes. Caille glared at the flame pressing the blessing her power onto the blade,
"Your still there aren't you Sandel, in this small feeble flame can't even end my frost much less what else my blade intells"
Her blade made a wall of ice and frost surging the flame leaving enough room for Don to pull away his arm skin peeled off the blistering, I even bubbled off his skin having Cailles frost trying to cover it and heal it.
"Dammit Caille the pain from it was already enough" Don seethed
The frost crawled over over the fire turning to steam on contact, Caille twisted her blade pushing against the stronger flame, it pressed the metal steam cold and hot appeared on each side covering Caille and Sandel,
"Hehehehe yes this is what ive heard of, the burning angel sent to protect the weak fighting off the fallen not once.."
Callie halted her blade slashed through the fire only to be met with a fire so thick it felt like a sword met hers. Flares of light bloomed on each of them Caille felt bone deep cold consumed her front, her white and blue eyes looked past the frost the flame was going larger forming onto a woman eyes peeked through the flames, staring at Caille haunting white iridescent, looking at her with nothing but the objective,
"Don.." Caille gasped out her blade shaked from the sudden force before it stopped the frost lifted in the air, Caille witnessed her blade pushed harshly into her chest, the presser made her breath hitched she took take a lung full of air, it crushed her chest pushing her back hitting Don, he hissed from Caille feeling the sudden worse force on her chest spreading,
"Don the air" Caille croaked as there feet skid across the broken pavement, scratching breaking their clothes and skin, Don looked above Caille's head, his white eyes found Sandel in the flames her sword was broader a faint green glow came through the vibrant color of the flames, his hand took the rabbit on his shoulder and peer at it, seeing it was struggling to take shape under the encompassing weight,
"Rabbit…send it back" Don was able to breath out flicking the shadow at the flame, he felt the gravity hit them harder sending them into the building crushing them, the building front fell in parts, the entrance crumbling down on them the weight seem to follow Caille and Don,
"Fucking stop" Caille croaked her hand clenched to her blade trying to pull it up, only for her wrist to be crushed, the blade clattered on the ground with the sickening sound of her cackling turned into wails of pain,
"Hehehehahhh"
Caille felt her wrist broken in parts the pain was blaring, she wailed again her body struggling against the weight of the gravity, the sound of bones creaking under the pressure, her breath coming in at pained bursts,
"Don…"
He looked at her feeling his bones creaking in from the weight, he stared ahead at the flame ridden woman striding towards them her hand attached to the blade, her eyes hollowed white iridescent stared back at him with a motionless expression, her blade was pulled out the green engulfed it and he felt it the pressure hit him back into the ground slamming into the foyer the ground groaned shattering, the staircase failed at the bottom of his hands Don tried to look up seeing the streak of green and iridescent coming towards them, Don even with the air pressing against his chest pushing the air out of his lungs, his eyes turned bright white looking at Effervescent,
"Rabbit…" he cried his lips a fervent snarl
Sandel felt a cold brush against her hand her blade torn from her, she looked a body of a rabbit biting in the hilt of her blade, its eyes stared back at Sandel pulling it out of her hilt and grasp, clashing on the ground, Sandel watched for a moment unrealized her hand draped over the rabbit and blade,
"Rabbit?" Sandel wondered
"Now"
Don cried to his blessing, the rabbit looked up at Sandel and rushed with her sword in its mouth, Don witnessed his rabbit rushing with the blade in its mouth, eyes strikingly cold its feet where only waves of dark shadow leaking from it, striding to him a wave moved it to the side when Sandel followed at a steady pass behind it, observing them with a steady pass her flames followed the rabbit, it scorched around it searing the ground and grass around it,
"Rabbit" Don ordered
His eyes widen seeing the vision of Sandel's hand over his rabbit, the sword in its mouth rushing to his opened right hand,
"Rabbit rush…" Don begging,
The rabbit stared at its master and pushed his head in Don's hand. He felt the weight of the metal handle, however it was glass. He tried to pull it deeper into his grasp,
"Effervescent does not like the hands of tainted blessed"
An unseen burning came over his hand twisted up his arm, Don let out a pained grunt tearing at his lip with his teeth, hard not to scream. The blade scorched the earth around him along with his arm,
"Don" Caille let out
She reached for her sword frost coating around it and just a finger tip away, she tried to reach brushing her finger against it but Sandel raised her hand over them,
"My blade knows its place"
A bright green light emerged off of the blade Don felt the burning stop for it to be replaced by a thrust of weight into him,
"R..a..rabbit" he croaked
Caille let out a pained laugh her, the smile she wore no matter the circumstances was rigid, her hand was slammed back into the ground frost trying to claim back its territory, there body pushed through several more layer of dirt cuts bruised broken ribs, she felt it her breathing skipped a beat, Don felt hip took a hit a large cement piece in it, he let out a broken shout his body pushed into the cement he opened his hand and spoke in a gasp,
"Take the weight off me"
He watched his rabbit crawling in the shadows towards his arm curling over to his hip,
