Chapter 179 - Chapter 178 Three times it happened

"Avalon?"

She looked up her eyes a colored fog her sight, she only saw them in an iridescent glow, she took the last step in slowly shutting the door behind her she could see a reflection from the glass it was colorful from the fog, she's bright that was blaring through the fog, she moved her hand from the handle feeling something dripping from her hand.

"Avalon!"

Avalon felt a worse heat then the once that curled around her it crawled up her leg, rushing past her hip on her chest, she felt the heat almost searing her skin,

"You're reacting to them, to the others, calm down please sense me here, im the heat that keeps you centered, im here Avalon hear me?" Sandel asked

Avalon peeked at her chest Sandel, not in her flames, laid her hand on Avalon's chest, her white eyes staring back into her silver clouded hues. Searching not for her but the string. The line that connected them together, Sandel felt a pull on the other end, a slight voice coming from it, a rough haunting voice that reminded her of broken gates and crippled streets. The mocking laughter of a thousand strings or the burning beam from two sides, the same sword that trained her through her beating chest,

"Avalon, you need to tell me do you feel them, their blades through your chest, the string that binds you, the similar heat scaring you?" Sandel asked, glancing at her, Avalon stared at her dazed when Avalon pupils moved frantically, Sandel felt her heart beating faster her skin was like a heated cast iron, Sandel moved her other hand onto her forearm a warm tether, she then felt down the line the oath that connected the four going cold Sandel felt the light caress of it, the smell of rain and stone, a barely noticeable smoke came through with cold mist wrapping around the line, Sandel open her eyes staring back into Avalon seeing her, glowing. The tattoos seem to pulsate in an unworldly rhythm matching the frantic beat of her heart, the hair Sandel loves to hide in to rest lifted into a flame a white one she never had before. It raised high not over her head but flickered, Sandel saw the foggy daze of Avalon staring into hers she had a string in it, Sandel heard someone trying to talk to them from the voice, rough, hiding their worry behind a wall of stubborn will, Damien, he had his hand reaching out for Avalon's arm Sandel grabbed it in a flash could have crushed his newly healed arm, Damein held back a pained hiss looking at Sandel caught off,

"Don't touch her," Sandel stated, grave pushed his hand back, she peered at him when Liz appeared behind him her eyes wide through her glasses clenching onto he tablet a projection Sandel could see, a thermal camera on her and Avalon, it was pure white, it wasn't seeing them right. Sandel looked back at Damien and explained further,

"She's seeing them, feeling their oaths. The crescendo, she's feeling the effects from it,"

"She's not connected to them, how is she reacting," Liz asked, clenching the tablet, watching the heat vision it was breaking. It can't read them. She turned it off as Sandel, her eyes shining, copping Avalons, looked into Lizs, those browns that couldn't handle those white glowing hues,

"There all angels, for the most part, my kind don't feel, humans do," Sandel expelled her eyes drifted back to Avalon she saw that Avalon hair was stark white her eyes still foggy, she touched Avalon shoulder seeing that the smoke curled around Avalon her light being dimmed her eyes cast ahead into the deeps of smoke, she saw something in it, round multiple moving parts, hands, heads but shapes of hair and faces she could recognize. Sandel looked to her she moved her trying to break her senses, or the hold from the mist that made its limbs curl around them,

"Avalon what are you seeing?"

Avlaon's hand twitch, trying to pull the smoke around her, to reach Sandel to have a rope to pull her out of. Sandel noticed her twitching aimed for the shapes moving in their midst, when voices came over Sandel felt a jolt go over her dread clever with regret filled her she stared off following Avalon's gaze.

"They will know," Sandel could make out hearing it in a gravelly voice, that held another lost in it, Sandel tightened her grip on Avalon,

"We must get out of this mind state, Avalon," Sandel stated in their mind,

Sandel pulled her back, only her shoulders Avalon didn't move, she stayed her body firmly planted on the ground, her eyes piercing through the mist,

"She already knows when we are planning to meet. How do you plan to handle this Pe.."

The voice was hazy through the fog, but Sandel could make out the words, it was to brittle voice claw through the fog, Sandel felt the jolt again when it went past them, she glanced back at Avalon still dazed watching them, the shapes were more organized there forms they could see clear,

"I know we have to get out," Avalon said throughout there mind Sandel head shot up staring at her again, when she felt a hand grab onto her own, pulled them back,

"They know," Avalon let out her hand is gripping onto Sandel but so was other two, each hand different as they pulled them back, Sandel looked ahead the shapes far off still showed them taking at a round table their voices cold contrast with the shrill ones bickering plotting back and forth,

"Avalon?" Sandel inquired her gaze drifted to her seeing her hair the deep white faded while Damein held onto her shoulder talking to her,

"They know? What's happening with you?" Damien asked her hand rubbed her shoulder getting her to tilt her head to the side feeling the heat coming from her and Sandel, it made the room unrealistic hot to Avalon she stared at Damien ignoring it seeing him then Liz not far beside her,

"Yes they know we have intentions of moving in, but not when," Avalon answered, her eyes going back to the lovable silvers they knew, she then looked at Sandel seeing her back into the angel she met in the clouds, in an island.

"What where you seeing for this heat for you turning into a white out marker," Liz asked

"White out that was your best guess Liz?" Avalon asked her hair at the ends white it wasn't fading it was just white, Sandel body still physical , she touched the hair while hearing Liz's sarcastic retort,

"It isn't elmers glue, not the glitter kind anyway, what was there?"

Avalon couldn't help but let out a questioning laugh while Dmaien trying to hold back a smile let it out, his face curled showing it, Sandel didn't react she held Avalon's ends staring at it like she caused a wound rather than mending one,

"Yeah, they were talking. I couldn't hear them over that fog that creeped over us, all we heard was that they know we can't let them take the whole board.." Avalon stopped her hair had a tightened tug, she looked at Sandel, the fire that moved up her hair it didn't burn the grip Sandel had on her hair hurt slightly but not terribly, Avalon glanced at Damien, wondering if he knew what they did or what she did in particular,

"You..this changed you, Avalon, again, you changed more than three times," Sandel whispered, her gaze darkening, almost glaring at her, her hands clenching around her hair, the white hair shining through the gaps. Avalon let out a grunt, hissing from Sandel tugging at her hair,

"Changed three times? What was the first..two?" Avalon slowly stopped her eyes scanned Sandel, her eyes glared at her hair when her nose scrunched up, her lips pursed when her eyes held a white shine to them,

"One with Morrigan, one with Peter," Sandel stated, letting go of Avalon's hair, pressing her hand onto her tattooed arms,

"Wasn't it Blake?"

Sandel glanced at Damien, her eyes shone a bit brighter, her eyes a half opened scathing look, one that related to her fire that would rain down from heaven,

"It was more Peter than it was Blake. Damien, I saw it, Peter and he were fighting for control, in the end it was a tie."

"A tie? That doesn't sound right," Liz interpreted, taking a step closer to them, grabbing her tablet, scanning them. She could see Avalon's temperature, it was odd, white in the middle of her chest and neck, on the back like a halo.

"It was, I saw it from above the inward struggle, they fight each other while on the ground he was defiant, not like this, he's not my host, Avalon, this is time three," Sandel warned

Her grip tightened on Avalon's shoulders, her eyes became a striking white, which made it look like Avalon had a light shining in her face. Avalon lightly grabbed Sandel's elbows, confused, she stared back at the angel,

"What does that mean?" Avalon said, bewildered, her body reacted, her tattoos stopped pulsing, her heat began to surge again, her eyes watched how Sandel was acting, her glow matching hers,

"You became more like me, it melded into you, Avalon being more controlling than your human side, it's…a tug of war with both sides some one have this one and goes mad," Sandel explained, moving some hair out of Avalon's face, her other hand digging into her arm,

"This has happened before. What's the difference, Sandel, I just have to control it better, shocking," Avalon expressed,

"It's not that simple, and we know that, it means you're more connected to them or me. If you can hear them talking through my mind, who can't say they can't find that line in your mind?" Sandel evaluated

She slowly let go, taking a step back. Their heat stopped. Sandel moved back into a flame slowly, while they watched Avalon tilt her head down, witnessing it with Damien and Liz, Damien glanced between them, his hand drifted to his belt tracing where his pistol laid he peered at Liz seeing her examining them with her tablet even if it couldn't catch the data before now it could scan them,

"Sandel stops with the riddles, can they?" Damien let out, taking a step closer to the flame his feet feeling the smoldering sunder, he watched Sandel's flame looked up at him her voice drifting through it,

"I blocked them from seeing into both of our heads however doesn't mean they can't see through her mind, not if but when they break it,"

"Only when they break it? You're saying they can break into my mind?" Avalon asked reached out her hand to Sandel, an offer to crawl up, Sandel moved her flames took Avalon's fingers moving up,

"Like you have done to them now yes, they didn't even recognize you Avalon,"

"Does it matter if they did? We got something from me jacking into their collective minds, if they cant breach into mine thats a problem we can handle not the first time I had to place a barrier over my head," Avalon muttered feeling Sandel crawling up her arm, a warm hug that traveled up to her shoulder, Damien stood in front of them with Liz holding her tablet up to Sandel,

"Im surprised that its working with me Liz," Sandel let out her flame now blends into Avalon's hair miraculously, Liz peered from her tablet staring at them through it,

"Yes at first I couldn't even get a read off the heat vision but after what happened to white out it seen to have faded now i can scanner the both of you," Liz explained

Liz stopped looking at Damien who cleared his throat his eyes peering into Avalon's with keen intranet, he held his gaze with her, his hand tightened on his pants,

"They know about us, do they know about Thursday?" Damien asked roughly

"They didnt say anything from thursday from what i heard, it was all blurry but they know we wouldn't be letting them go and take the city by the balls," Avalon let out her glow seem to get worse as Damien glanced Liz a slight nod and Liz started to press out a message on the tablet,

"We still have the moment of delusional thinking on their end, great," Liz expressed almost finished as the tablet saw through light showing Salvatore's email, she scanned the two. Then Avalon seeing her still like a torch glowing,

"If you changed again maybe we don't have as much time as we perceived"
