'All of them? There were children-'
Asher grimaced. 'Everyone's gone, Jake.'
'And Maya?'
'She's fine. It was her that killed Bo, said she had no choice after Nightmouth corrupted them.'
'But children?' Cali interrupted.
'I don't know if she killed them, all I know is, they were gone like the rest.' Asher muttered, glancing around. 'No flooring?'
They all stared at me, Violet included. Like she was innocent in all this.
