"So this is home, huh? Not Impressed."
"You just got here, don't be so quick to judge" said Leonidas, stepping through the portal behind the boy. "Do you remember it at all?"
"Not really, I haven't been here in twelve years."
"Yes, you stayed hidden for quite some time. I apologize that we have no time to properly celebrate your return, but nonetheless, welcome back to Toukugakara, Ketsu."
The boy looked surprised for a moment. "Ketsu. I haven't heard my own name in years. Ketsueki Seijo. Nice ring to it."
The boy took in his surroundings. The hills of the plains shone a vivid green as the grass swayed in the wind, contrasted by the beautiful red-orange hues in the sky - it was sunset.
"So uhhhh, what do we do now? Seems like it's gettin' late - we goin' somewhere?"
"North, toward Kyousu, the beast kingdom capital city. There you'll get some combat training. Hopefully."
"Hopefully?"
"Yes, hopefully. News that you'd been found reached me on short notice - I didn't have much time to prepare."
"So the other beastmen won't be expecting us?"
"Nope."
"Hmm. Okay. How are we even gonna get there? The Beast kingdom is like, WAAAY up north, isn't it?"
"Yep." Leonidas cracked a slight grin. "I thought you didn't remember the place" he teased.
Ketsu motioned with his fingers "A little bit - anyway, that's far away - what about right now?
Leonidas pointed north "See that town up ahead, over the hill? It's called Magari. It's our first stop. We'll stay for a day or two to prepare, and be on our way."
