From MC's Perspective:
Seeing that Senior Brother Neil Smith looked unresponsive, I rushed to his side. I found his whole body charred.
There was no sound of a heartbeat. His vitality was gone.
"This guy is dead," I muttered.
My heart stirred. It was a new finger technique, but it had electrocuted the Silver Mark Warrior in the blink of an eye.
It took me a few minutes to calm my heart. Then, I sat down on a nearby rock. It was unfortunate.
But Neil Smith had asked for it. He had clearly shown malicious hatred. If I hadn't been strong, I could have died at his hands instead.
I collected my thoughts. I did not regret my actions, and I wouldn't tell others.
My thoughts raced as I started thinking about the consequences. My brain quickly came up with a solution.
First, I decided to do something about the corpse. I quickly realized that it was not safe to stay here.
