"Stop asking personal questions!" Yvienna snapped, her teeth gritted as if Dashylle had pressed her anger button on purpose. Her cousin only smirked, provoking her even more. She grabbed the nearest object on her table—making him bolt out of the room before she could actually throw it.
Exhaling sharply, she took a sip of her coffee and made her way back to her swivel chair, heels clicking softly against the floor. A knock echoed through her office just as she settled down.
"Come in."
Jandrix stepped inside—yet Yvienna's eyes instantly widened when she saw the man beside him.
"I'm so sorry for not informing you in advance," Evan said calmly, taking the seat Jandrix offered him.
"I won't be available tomorrow, and this matter is urgent. I hope that's alright with you?"
He adjusted his glasses while Yvienna subtly studied him from behind her cup.
"It's alright, Mr. Saldua." She took another sip of her coffee. "Would you like coffee or tea?"
