*Harper*
Pain radiated through my entire being, but in the end, that's what it had come down to. We weren't dating. He wasn't mine to try and keep from anyone else. I had this talk with myself before, it was hard to think of him with someone else. But he was right. Hildr bubbled to the surface with not-so-helpful advice.
'Close the door, Harper. Look at his face, feel his emotions. He regrets saying it, you don't understand the repercussions this will bring.' Hildr spoke to me like a mother to a daughter.
'If I back down now, he will never respect me.' And she pushed forward slamming the door shut and walking me over to him. I struggled for control and she pushed me aside softly.
'You will thank me.' I wanted to scream and stop my feet, this was my choice to make.
'Hildr please, I'm not ready.' Fear trembled in my voice and she hesitated long enough for me to wrestle control from her. I hung my head panting like I had just sprinted a mile.
