In the Changle Princess Mansion, when Qin Yiyao awoke from her stupor, it was already nearing the hour of the Rat.
As the maids lit the lamps in the room, fragmented images continuously flashed in her mind. In those images, she seemed like a completely different person.
Qin Yiyao's cheeks flushed red but she quickly regained her composure.
Clever as she was, she already judged what had happened to her. Such an event left her with lingering fear, yet she was grateful she hadn't done anything irreversible.
"Princess, are you hungry? Shall I fetch you some food?" The maid, having lit the lamps, asked as she approached Qin Yiyao.
"Wait." Qin Yiyao called out to stop her. She pursed her lips before speaking softly, "On the way back to the mansion, I felt unwell and don't quite remember what happened. Tell me what occurred."
"Yes." The maid, without suspicion, recounted the events.
