Mila POV
I shouldn't be reacting like this.
I tell myself that over and over, but my body refuses to listen.
Angel's fingers move with devastating certainty, slow and deliberate, as if he knows my body better than I do. Well, I think he does. Because why can't my body say no to him?
My breath stutters, my hands gripping the fabric of his shirt, not to pull him closer, but to keep myself upright.
"Angel… stop," I whisper, but the word dissolves into a gasp as his touch deepens.
"Tell me you do not want this and more," he murmurs, watching me closely, his eyes dark and focused. "I know he doesn't make you feel this way."
"That's not.." I inhale sharply, my back arching despite myself. "That's not fair."
His thumb circles just right, just enough, and the protest dies on my lips. Heat coils low in my belly, fast and overwhelming, my body responding with traitorous urgency.
"Look at you," he says softly, almost reverently. "You say no, but my body always says yes.
