Gu Jin patted Duoduo's head and bid farewell to Gu Jiajie and Wei Yan: "There's nothing much, I'll head back first."
"Minmin is having a holiday in a couple of days, do you want to have a meal together?" Mentioning the family's younger sister, the smile on Gu Jiajie's face faded quite a bit: "She mentioned the other day that she misses you."
"Sure, let me know once you've made a reservation."
Speaking of Minmin, one cannot help but think of Qiu Qianghai.
Gu Jin asked: "How's Hai recently?"
Gu Jiajie: "I haven't seen Hai for a while; he's been quite busy lately."
Qiu Qianghai became busy due to the transformation in his family's elder lady's status, coupled with his nephew becoming the next heir, dragging him completely from his lazy life circle into the whirlpools of various forces in Beijing.
Thinking of Hai's frail body, Gu Jin frowned slightly: "I haven't seen Hai in a long time either. Is his health alright?"
