She had never been this embarrassed before!
Especially that last look Vivian gave her before she left. Vivian was always a bit unserious, and Scarlett couldn't figure out where her thoughts had wandered off to.
Julian responded absentmindedly, lost in his own thoughts.
Scarlett asked, "Are you even listening to me?"
He still had the nerve to daze off?
Only then did Julian look at Scarlett, and as soon as he saw her, he began to laugh again.
Scarlett: "..."
Honestly, if she hadn't seen him lying in bed needing to be fed, she really would have wanted to hit him.
Scarlett said, "You can still laugh. Seems like you don't need my company; stay by yourself then."
With that, Scarlett walked out the door.
Julian watched her back, "..."
Scarlett actually wanted to see Vivian and her second brother. After all, they were caught in a situation, and since they told her to continue, she couldn't really do so; she needed to clear things up.
