Felix Rhodes sat down, saying, "Had a drink with Jonah."
Hearing about Jonah Morgan, Mrs. Rhodes asked, "Any news of Scarlett Xavier?"
Felix replied, "No."
It's been asked all night, yet not a single word of news.
Jonah Morgan was tight-lipped, leaving Felix somewhat frustrated.

After all, when Scarlett left home, it was Felix who informed Jonah.
He treated him like a brother, spoke openly without hiding anything. And now, Jonah is turning his back, pretending not to know him—too much.
Mrs. Rhodes said, "Julian called today, said his flight is tomorrow. There's no news of Scarlett at all. What do you think he'll do if he finds out Scarlett isn't home?"
Felix listened to his mother, "What can be done? I've already tried my best. We'll talk when he gets back."
With things as they are, Felix has done all he could.
Mrs. Rhodes looked at Felix and said, "Go and wash up, then get some sleep."
Felix nodded at his mother's words and went upstairs.
