In this society, there are actually quite a few good men. They don't smoke, drink, or flirt; they go home right after work. They are considerate of their wives, responsible for their families, willing to care and raise children, and hand over most of their salary, which should count as good men in the general sense.
However, what if his wife is adamant about not wanting children, or maybe she doesn't want them until certain conditions are met? Not many men can accept this.
There was a street survey asking whether people would choose children or a house after a divorce. Most women would choose children, but most men would choose the house. Yet the strange thing is, if a man knew his wife couldn't have children when they got married, most would choose divorce. However, if a wife knew her husband couldn't conceive, she would, in many cases, choose adoption.
