Outside the gates of Black Water City, those gathered for the ceremony to welcome the new Lord into the city wore expressions of mixed emotions.
The reason was simple; the newly arriving Lord was vastly different from their expectations.
Not only were their manners somewhat... peculiar, but the voice that emanated from the carriage was distinctly female.
Not only female, but it sounded like a child's voice.
What on earth... is going on here?
The crowd was stunned and silent, and the scene remained quiet for a long time.
Eventually, the person inside the carriage couldn't hold back any longer and asked, "What is it? If I don't come out, will you all just stand there staring? Hmph, how boring, not fun at all. Fine, I'll come out myself."
As soon as the words finished, there was a few "bang bang" sounds, as a hole appeared on the side of the overturned carriage, and the person inside bent out of it.
