The whole night was spent at Tatiana's. One of my father's associates. The next morning, I find myself on top of Joshua. I drooled all over his shirt. But he's asleep still, even when he's asleep he looks hot. That only lasts a few minutes because Josh's eyes open in an instant. We are staring at each other. I tear my gaze away immediately so that he won't get any ideas.
"Get off me!" as he declares that, he pushes me off the bed. Ow. "You okay?"
"I'm fine" I reply. Thanks for caring! He's so dead. I'm halfway into pinning Josh when the bedroom door opens to Tatiana. She looks between the both of us. "Hi, Aunt Tatiana! Good morning"
"I heard a crash, are you okay?" she inquires.
"I'm really okay, Tatiana! He pushed me by accident" I respond. After confirming that it was a silly play, she leaves us alone. Sigh. The breakfast she made, as usual, I devour it whole. "Wow, I guess you were hungry," she confesses.
"I have something to ask you, Josh." Halfway down his second pancake, he stares at me. "Why'd ya kiss me?"
"My friends asked me if I have a girlfriend, and I said yes, and they wanted proof, so I kissed you right in front of them" He replies casually. Ugh. I think I lost my appetite. Suddenly I remember Zia. Oh, God. She's probably searching the house for me. Maybe I should call her and tell her I'm safe. Before I can call her, Josh grabs my phone out of my hands and removes the SIM card. My brows knit so tightly it can kill a bird within one foot of me. "Jess, I think it's best if you don't involve more people in this mess. They are already looking for you-"
He goes silent when, "Thanks a lot Josh, you ruined my life" and storm into the room and hide.
