Chapter 181 - chapter 181: Group 3 finally starts

Amari POV

"So we follow the plan, guys." The leader said, looking around to his little group.

"Sigh, as much as I hate this, I can't say no." The guy's friend sighed, nodding in agreement.

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen, let the game begin!!" The commentator yelled with bells going off.

"Go," the leader said, only to turn around a second later with his friends next to him and half of the entire arena participating.

"Ugh, so that's the backlash." I said seeing my own arm, the arm I used to shoot out the spell turned my arm into dust until only a stump was left.

"It wasn't as powerful as I thought. Oh no, it was blocked." I muttered, seeing a second barrier in the arena with me in the middle.

"Ah, what the fuck just happened!" The commenter yelled into his microphone, making me look at the booth, annoyed.

'This is going to be a problem.' I thought, knowing that I was a prime target now and I only had half my mana left and I lost one arm.

"Okay, the barrier did its job, boss. We can kill her for good now," someone said from inside the dust.

"Don't tell me." I muttered, narrowing my eyes at the smoke screen. only to widen them, noticing another barrier, one that was smaller than the arena's one.

'Can this barrier interfere with the time reversal barrier?' I thought in panic, only to shake my head to calm down.

"Don't overthink it, Amari." I said, calming myself. If it had, Kayda would have realized already and stopped the fight. There is no need to panic about stupid things.

"Oh, you are a calm one." The guy said, just as most of the smoke disappeared, walking through the barrier with other people behind him did the same.

"Hmm." Humming I shot out a fire javelin at him, taking him by surprise, but he was still able to dodge it. However, the 3 people behind him didn't have any time and got killed.

"Hay now, don't be that aggressive." The guy said, laughing.

"Snap!" Snapping my finger, the guy that was talking so much turned to dust with a few people around him.

"Shit, she is a sage!" The people yelled, panicking.

"Yeah, now you guys know why you don't get close to a sage, don't you?" I asked, loloing around me with a grin.

"Well, for the confused ones, it's because I can make spells anywhere I want in a certain radius. And funny enough, all of you are in my range." I laughed before blasting multiple spells to kill everyone that was in a 50-meter radius again.

Looking at the smoke cloud again, my grin fell, noticing that the gith isn't over yet.

'Fuck, it still isn't over.' I cursed seeing at least 14 people still left.

"We can't leave her be." A guy said, walking up to me, knowing I didn't have any mana left.

"Heh, to think you will come closer on your own." I said, giggling, shooting of the ground, which decreased the distance between us even more. Grabbing the guy's throat, I laminated that I can't actually crush it like Kitsuna can, but I can still break his neck with ease.

Crack!

"What the fuck!"

"Shit, distance yourself!" A guy barked, jumping back.

"Welp!?" yelling in surprised the last guy to react got a corpse thrown on him. Taking the dead guys sword, I stabbed the guy under the corpse, killing him.

"12 left. Hmm, assassin?" I said seeing Kunai on the guys belt. Taking a few kunai's, I threw it at the 6 people closest to me, with 2 of them easily blocking it. The other four, surprisingly, just let it hit them, killing them as well.

'Huh, they didn't dodge? Or couldn't dodge?' I thought confused.

"Amari, are you fine?" One of the Kunis asked, walking up to me from the side.

"Yeah, I presume because of you two?" I said, looking at them confused.

"Yeah, my sister made sure they couldn't move." He said nodding, reusuring.

"Huh, thanks, i guess." I said thanking them again.

"No problem,"

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen. As boring as the start was, the end was at least a bit surprising." The commentator said he was trying to hype up the crowd again.

"Woah!!"

With the croud going wild, the barrier activated to reverse time. Or so it should have been, but not one of the people around me and the Kuni kids were getting reversed. Same with my arm; it didn't come back.

"That's not good." I muttered, noticing the other barrier was still on and everyone outside that barrier was actually reviving, not inside it.

"Oh, it seems there is a problem." The commenter said something that made me glare at him.

"What?"

"My kid isn't getting revived?" one of the spectators asked worriedly.

"This is going to get hectic."

"Yeah, so let's get out of here." Kitsuna said, appearing behind us.

"Sis?"

"We will talk later; Kayda should be able to fix this. First, you three need to get out of here." Kitsuna said before the scenery changed around us.

"I will be back in a few. And Amari, stop your bleeding. We can heal your arm later." She said before disappearing again.

"Uhm, amari, whats going on?" The brother of the kuni asked, looking at me worried.

"Uh well, there was a barrier put up to intervene with the revival processes we have in place." I explained thoughtfully, not really knowing that it was the truth that it only just intevened and not uust stop it out right.

"So we actually killed people just now," he said, looking down at his hands.

"Hmm, yeah. Oh now I see why we needed to get out of there." I muttered, nodding, realizing why we will be the first targets seeing that I killed most of the people in the barrier, if not all of them.

'I hope Kayda can fix this.' I thought, looking down, starting to hear the two dawfs emptying their stomachs in the corner of the rooms.

"Haah, I can't do this." I muttered, dropping my head in my hands, trying to cut all the noise out.

[kitsuna Clone Pov]

'How did something like this happen?' I thought standing in the middle of the arena around all the corpses that haven't revived. The stadium has already been evacuated forcefully, but at least no editional casualties have happened for the moment.

"Kitsuna, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with Zagan?" Kayda asked, looking at me with an annoyed face while walking up to me.

"Clone. I took Amari and the Kunis away for now." I explained, giving her a small smile.

"Hmm, yeah, I saw. Did you take them home?" Kayda asked while inspecting the barrier.

"Home." I simply replied.

'It's funny how her attitude changed the moment I told her I was aclone.' I thought, giggling softly.

"Good, now let me fix this shit." She said, putting her hands on the ground.

"What happened?" I asked sill, not knowing how this came to be.

"Someone made a second barrier inside the time revision one." Kayda explained while she was moving her mana around weirdly.

"Oh, so the barrier is stopping the other one." I said, looking to the sky, looking for the barrier.

"Yeah, but can't you see the second barrier?" Kayda asked a bit surprised.

"No, I can't even see the first one." I said, shrugging.

"The first one?" She said she was looking up at me for a second.

"Same, I can't see it." I yawned, shaking my head at her.

"Huh, thats a surprise."

"Yeah, but the real one should be able to see it."

"She can? Well, thats not important right now." Kayda said getting back to her work.

"Hey, what the fuck are you two doing? Can't you fix this shit already?" Some short fuck yelled walking up to us.

"The fuck are you?" I said, looking at the guy with a raised eyebrow, getting in between him and Kayda.

"Ah, you don't know who I am!" The shorty yelled, fumming even more.

"No, should I know?" I asked, tilting my head at the guy.

"Yes, you should. I am running this fucking tournament," the guy said, pointing at the early stages.

"The king is running the tournament." I stated, making him even angrier.

"I am the one that organized everything." I said with a red face.

"Oh, so your head is going to roll, huh? Seeing as this shit happened under you." I said, grinning, gesturing at all the kids bodies around us.

"You two, please shut up. I need to consent." Kayda was quite annoyed at our bickering.

"Yes ma'am." I said, knocking the guy out with a chop to the neck, moving away from her, giving her space.
