Their life, rise, prosperity, suffering, and death meant nothing to him. He could stop and have a pleasant conversation, and maybe make a beneficial deal, but everything else did not matter. But now, it seemed there was still a dormant soft spot.
"Being human is not necessarily a bad thing," Wang Wei analyzed. "The power of Saint is so overwhelming that it removes them from reality, making it easier for them to be cold and indifferent. I never thought about it before, but Maitreya's kind heart is a testament to how much of her humanity she has conserved after so many years of absolute power."
