The next day we were in the library on the library computer researching this Order of Cthulu rhe hooded man spoke of. So far we only found the Cthulu mentioned in H.P Lovecraft's books until we stumbled upon our first lead. A website called Eldritch Horrors before Lovecraft's Time.
"Says here that the Order of Cthulu was established in 1890 to bring forth the Eldritch beast from his slumber at the bottom of the sea to bring forth a new world" Gus read.
"1890 was the year Lovecraft was born" I said
Ricky nodded in agreement.
"Yeah and listen to this turns out Lovecraft's mother was a member of the Order and told her son to write about Cthulu to spread his gospel. But people didn't think they were real stories and chalked it up to a man with a very active imagination" Gus continued to read from the webpage.
"That is creepy" Ricky said
"Yeah" I agreed.
"And it says here that on a night where the moon glows red and the sea becomes unruly the Order will peform a ritual to awaken Cthulu who is then set to bring on the end of the Old World and create the New World where all shall be under his rule" Gus continued.
"Wait that would mean that everyone on this planet will die...Mythicals, humans, all of the animals,everything" Ricky said
"Yeah...this is bad" Gus said
"What are we gonna do? We are just kids" I asked
"We fight back" Gus said
I swallowed another lump of anxiety.
I got a bad feeling about this.
