Cedric returned to HQ a hero.
But that night, as he slept, Arhenos spoke again.
"We are not alone."
Cedric's eyes snapped open.
"What do you mean?"
A portal of black stars opened in front of him — not a dungeon portal, but something older.
From it stepped a humanoid figure made of shadow.
Cedric clenched his fists.
The figure bowed mockingly.
"Greetings, Vessel of Arhenos."
Cedric froze.
"You… know about my power?"
The shadow smiled.
"Of course. Your awakening has alerted all gods."
"And one of them wants your head."
Cedric's pulse tightened.
"Who?"
The shadow whispered a name that shook Cedric's bones.
"Aztarion… God of Devouring Light."
Arhenos's voice raged inside Cedric:
"AZTARION HAS RETURNED! CEDRIC, RUN!"
Cedric's eyes widened.
"Why would a god target me…?"
The shadow pointed at Cedric's chest — right where the Divine Core was sealed.
"Because you carry Arhenos's last fragment."
"And if Aztarion eats it—he becomes unstoppable."
Cedric gritted his teeth.
"So they're coming… for me."
The shadow laughed.
"No… They're coming for your entire world."
The portal swallowed the figure.
Cedric stood trembling, fists clenched, heart burning.
The system flashed:
