Beep—
Beep—
May Sloane looked as if she'd thrown caution to the wind, ignoring everything.
Before the call connected, she glanced at Aiden Shaw with tears held back in her eyes, "Sir, Tiana once told me, being kind is being bullied."
Aiden Shaw didn't speak, but he probably understood why May's mood suddenly swung so drastically.
It must be because of the negativity toward the little fox on Weibo.
His gaze was cold, "Continue."
May continued, "If my call today brings controversy to 'Fox Fairy' and causes Pinnacle Media's stock to plummet, you can replace me after the fact. But please remember, it's all my doing, it has nothing to do with Tiana."
Aiden Shaw lowered his eyes to look at Tiana Thorne's hands, his Adam's apple moved, an inscrutable expression in his eyes.
His deep voice carried a trace of undefined fluctuation, "Stock, huh?"
May nodded forcefully, "Yes."
"Let it fall."
May was taken aback, somewhat incredulous.
