After lying down, the young man looked at her tidying up the bloody clothes and suddenly felt a softness within. He was worried he might implicate her and softly bit his lip, "Miss, you saved me, and I am very grateful. This kindness is not something that can be repaid with money, I'm afraid I might have caused you trouble."
"Don't worry, there's nobody on earth who can trouble me." Tiana smiled, her eyes like the stars, gently comforting him.
The young man was momentarily stunned, his gaze becoming truly sincere. He softly bit his lip again and said, "Miss, thank you. If I ever become successful, I will return to this cottage and make you my wife."
Tiana chuckled, "I cannot marry. Just focus on recovering and stop overthinking."
"I'm serious."
Tiana felt their acquaintance was fated, but it wasn't strong enough to make her want to marry him.
