Yet equally shocking.
Cynthia Morgan swallowed several times in a row, staring at Tiana Thorne, her eyes like a venomous snake with its mouth wide open, wanting to suck her blood and eat her flesh.
"Is there something wrong with the surgery?"
This was asked by Jonas Jarvis. His voice was so hoarse that if the room weren't silent enough to hear a needle drop, his words would have been inaudible.
Tiana Thorne nodded, then looked at Cynthia Morgan, fixing her gaze on her eyes, like an ice pick, articulating each word clearly: "You might not know what surgery was done, so let me educate you."
