"It's nothing... why are you here?" Bai Jingqing held her hand and pressed it against his face.
"I came to see you, and I made you something to eat." Qianqian frowned, knowing something must be up with him, probably family matters.
"What did you make?" Bai Jingqing stood up and sat on the hospital bed.
"I was free at home and made some small wontons... My mom said if you have time, she'd like to invite you over for a meal."
Qianqian knew that Bai Jingqing was still dealing with his father's recent passing and was feeling down, so she came to check on him.
"Okay, you decide when, and I'll come over." Bai Jingqing didn't refuse, reaching out to pull her onto his lap.
"Ah Qing... no matter what happens, I will be with you." Qianqian slowly wrapped her arms around his waist and held him tightly.
"Thank you." Bai Jingqing kissed her forehead with gratitude. For her, he had to find the strength to carry on.
