Tessa and I finish our "breakfast" despite it being night, and walk to our classes. Luckily, we both are in first block together so we decide to sit in the very back corner of the class room.
Tessa takes out multiple types of pens, pencils, and highlighter while I only have one working mechanical pencil. "Omg Cynthia, guess who just walked in" Tessa whispers. who? I ask. "It's your boyfriend, Michael!" As she violently shakes my arm. Like I said, he's not my boyfriend. "well if he's not your boyfriend then why is he walking over here" says Tessa while pointing straight at him. In my head I am bursting with anger because I am not only tired due to the classes being at night, but I have to now, deal with his BS too. "Hey Cynthia" says Michael while smirking. At that moment, all I could think of is how handsome he was, but then I collected myself and realized how angry I should be.
The whole class watches him sit down while I shrink of embarrassment. Soon the professor enters and we start class. Halfway through the class I had a strange feeling someone was watching me and turns out, in the corner of my eye, Lilly is eyeballing Michael and I from across the room. I try not to pay attention and focus on taking notes for this class.
After what seemed like an eternity, the bell finally rang. As I get up and pick up my things, Michael asks me "do you want to get lunch together?" Before I could say no Tessa screams and says "she would love to!" I look at Tessa with a cold face and she winks at me. When we walk out of class I scream at Tessa, "why on earth would you tell him I'd go to lunch with him!" She responds with "well don't you think it would be cool to date the hottest guy in school?" While shrugging her shoulder. "NO IT WOULD NOT, I don't want any attention on ME!" I say as I start heading towards my locker. "Well, I will be there to sit at lunch with you Cynthia, only two more classes and I will meet you at the cafeteria" says Tessa with a reassuring tone and gives me a hug goodbye.
