"Yondaime…Hokage…?" Naruto uttered blankly, looking down.
As if he couldn't believe what he just heard. Sasuke didn't blame him at all. After all, the Yondaime was the one to seal the Kyuubi inside him. Specific circumstances or not.
For your own father to do that…
"The Yondaime is my dad…" he muttered, "Why…." he trailed off, before his head whipped up, eyes narrowed into a glare of fury, tears streaming from his eyes.
"Why?!" he shouted, "I get what you told me before Daiki, I do! I understand better now, there's nothing wrong with being a Jinchuuriki. But..why!? Why would my own dad seal it in me! Especially if…if my mom was the last one!"
"Who would a father trust more than his own son?" Daiki countered camly, and Naruto froze, the tears stopping.
Daiki made his way back over to his desk and sat on it again, arms crossed as he stared at Naruto, ignoring Sasuke for the moment. This wasn't about him, and he honestly felt like a little bit of an outsider.
Even…though he definitely wasn't. He was all too involved. It made him uncomfortable.
Naruto took a shuddering breath, "Then…how did the Kyuubi get out of my mom?"
"The seal of a Jinchuuriki is at the weakest in women, when they're giving birth," Daiki told him, as he told Sasuke yesterday, "An enemy slipped into the village the night of your birth, a man calling himself Madara Uchiha."
"Like…like the one you told me about before? That controlled the Kyuubi to fight the First Hokage!?" Naruto gasped.
"The very same. Whether he's a fake or the real deal, we don't know yet," Daiki told him, "He ripped the Kyuubi from your mother when the seal was at the weakest, and let loose the Kyuubi on the village after controlling it with his Sharingan. After a real big fight, the Yondaime managed to defeat him forcing him to retreat, and then with their last breaths, your mother and father sealed the Kyuubi into you."
"…So that's why…" Naruto bit his lip, "But…that still doesn't explain why me? Or why my mother even."
"Because only you could hold back the Kyuubi. I told you before, you should be proud, not just of being a Jinchuuriki, but containing the Kyuubi did I not?" Daiki told him, "The Kyuubi is so much stronger than the other bijuu, it's not even funny. Only the Uzumaki clan, known for their absurdly strong bodies and stamina could hope to contain it. Without you Naruto, there was nobody in the village that could have contained the Kyuubi and we would have all died. Only you could hold the Kyuubi back at that time."
'At that time…?' Sasuke blinked. Did that mean there was another Uzumaki? Or, did Daiki mean himself now?
"…Oh…" Naruto blinked, and slowing looked over to the side of the room where the pictures of the past Hokage hung. His eyes specifically landing on a handsome blonde at the end.
"I gotta say though, the Yondaime is such a badass," Daiki mused, and flicked his hand, a picture frame appearing in his grasp, "I mean check this out. Your mom is such a foxy babe Naruto. I admire the Yondaime so much for marrying a babe like Kushina Uzumaki." he held the frame up, showing off a beautiful woman with long flowing red hair, deep grey eyes and a cocky smile on her lips.
Sasuke could see the resemblance immediately. Not just the cocky smile, but the shape of the face and the eyes. Naruto got his colouring from his father, but his looks were all his mother.
Naruto turned and looked at the picture, and held it almost reverently when Daiki handed it to him, "…My mom, huh?" he whispered, staring at the picture of her for a long moment, before frowning and looking up at Daiki, "Wait, what the hell did you just say about my mother?"
"That she's a total fox," Daiki gave him a cocky smirk matching the smile of Naruto's mother in the picture, "I mean just look at that face and body. Not to mention, that hair. I've never seen a woman with such beautiful hair. It's no wonder your sexy jutsu is such a babe when you're basically just like a twin tailed blonde, blue eyed version of your mother."
The sombreness of the situation was completely dispelled, "Daiki, stop talking about my dead mother like a pervert! I'll kick your freaking ass I swear!" Naruto clenched his fist and waved it in the air threateningly, "You can perve on my Sexy Jutsu form all you like, but leave my mother out of it or you're gonna get a broken nose!"
"Oh sorry Naruto," Daiki's cocky smirk just widened, "I didn't mean to make you jealous by paying attention to another womans looks."
"I'm going to kill you Daiki!" Naruto shouted in return.
Daiki ignored him and turned to Sasuke. And it was then, a horrible pit formed in his stomach, "Hey, so if Naruko is a babe in comparison to Kushina, would Sasuki be a babe to match your mother Mikoto? Did I ever tell you I love her name by the way?"
Onyx eyes burned straight into the mangekyou, "You've gone too far this time Daiki!" Sasuke shot at him, followed by Naruto.
Daiki caught Naruto's kick with his knee, and Sasuke's punch with his forearm without ever getting up, not even having to move to react to, and block their attacks despite how strong they'd both gotten over the last month, "Oooh, I didn't think you'd be jealous of me paying attention to another woman as well," Daiki mocked, "Is that why you never pay attention to girls? Sorry Sasuke, I'll have to see you as Sasuki first before I commit."
"Daiki!"
"Daiki!"
Naruto and Sasuke's furious shouts echoed through the Hokage office and beyond.
