She originally wanted to get up and take a shower, but sleepiness gradually took over. Although she didn't want to be with Faye, she felt particularly comfortable leaning in his arms.
Slowly, she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Another pair of tightly closed eyes silently opened. Faye looked at her, gently stroking her face with his fingers, and whispered softly in her ear, "I know, so I'm willing to wait!"

"You wouldn't understand," Tessa responded lazily.
"Why wouldn't I understand? I'm telling you, just stop being stubborn and quickly make up with your handsome husband."
