Panpan thought about these past days waiting eagerly with his father for the baby in his mother's belly, and how he enthusiastically prepared stories for his younger siblings. All the thoughts were of past happy moments, yet he felt an indescribable sense of grievance and started to cry as he thought about it.
As a child, he didn't have very complex awareness, but at this moment, he just wanted to cry, subconsciously afraid of losing all the past goodness.
"I'm not my mom and dad's child, is that true? So many people around say this; I've heard it, but I dare not speak to you about it, Mom. Where exactly did I come from?"
