As soon as the drink was done, Rami gave it to Ryuzaki. He told him to give the glass to Dark because he was on the other side of the room playing billiards with the boys.
Ryuzaki agreed without any suspicion.
Rami smiled gratefully at him.
After a while, he saw that Ryuzaki gave the drink to Dark who immediately took a sip of it.
He was startled when Dark, after that small sip, seemed to have stopped for a moment before taking another sip into it just like it didn't happen.
It was just his illusion. Rami assured himself.
When he saw that Dark had already emptied his glass after a while, he heaved a sigh of relief.
Waiting for the drug to take effect, Rami finished his drink and mingled with the others. Without them noticing, he slipped the empty capsule of the Wild Fantasy into Avery's pocket.
They dance, joke around, and drink their hearts out.
Rami, especially, as he wants to forget the little bit of guiltiness that was building into him.
Meanwhile, Dark silently found his way out of the room because he felt the room was getting hotter than usual. The surging heat is making him dizzy a little bit.
His body felt hot abruptly, so he knew there was something wrong.
He remembered the drink, since it was the last thing he consumed before this abnormal feeling hit him. He also recalled that it tasted slightly off at the first sip, but because the flavor was still good and he never suspected anything, he dismissed it.
Now he was trapped. He understood what was happening.
His thoughts drifted to his companions from earlier at the party.
No—definitely not them. Why would they do such a thing?
Maybe it happened before he got home, since he had just come from a formal meeting with another assassination group?
After pondering and probing for the culprit— never once the thought of Rami did it come to his mind—- He stopped because he just wanted to get rid of the feeling.
He walked faster because he already wanted to go back to his room and immediately take a cold shower. He wanted to wake himself up. He wanted to stop his escalating libido before he could do something bad.
He felt like his blood was now starting to boil. He has the feeling of venting it out to someone. Meaning, he needs to do the deed just to get rid of it.
Unfortunately---
"Dark!!" A cheerful voice called him.
He stopped.
'Oh, goodie, here's the one I don't want to see right now!' Dark thoughts.
He continued walking, acting like he didn't hear anything.
Before he had gone far, he heard Rami's voice again.
"Dark!! Come on, I know you heard me!!" Rami complained.
Dark made a face and ignored Rami. He doesn't want to entertain him now.
He just continued walking.
Unexpectedly, the latter yanked his arms, hugging it tightly, causing him to be pulled by him. Resulting for him to feel the warmth coming from Rami's body because it was so close towards his arm that he hugged.
It ignited his desire more.
"Hey, are you okay?" Rami asks Dark with concern.
After a while of silence and just silently walking without him looking at the little thing right beside him, Dark answered, "Yes, I'm fine."
"Really? But your face is red. Are you having a fever?" Rami asked while he pulled him to stop. Then he put his hand on Dark's forehead, testing if he really had a fever.
"You are not hot, so you are not sick. But why is your face red?" Rami asked again. This time, he brought his body closer to Dark's body, leaning more for him to get nearer towards him.
"I told you I'm fine." Dark answered Rami. At the same time he put his hand into Rami's forehead to lightly push him away from himself.
"Oh, don't push. Hey!" Rami yelled at Dark. Still doing his best to cling to Dark's body just like a gecko.
Dark can feel Rami's body heat.
He almost couldn't endure.
'No, I must hold on. I should get rid of him now or else—' Dark thought grimly.
From the very start, Dark knew himself well— well enough to recognize the unfamiliar pull he is feeling since he met Rami. Feeling that great attraction toward this little thing in front of him, even if he refused to admit it at first.
Yes, he accepted it now. Even if he denied it many times and deluded himself otherwise.
He knew he wanted him.
He wanted to own him.
He might not yet feel that strong emotion called love, but the moment he imagined another man with Rami—hell, he wanted to eliminate them. He couldn't even stand the thought of another man getting close to him.
That's why he constantly found himself glaring at his own people, even though he knew none of them could ever have a relationship with Rami.
He was becoming territorial.
His obsession and possessiveness, they were all beginning to surface. But--- he knew-- he doesn't have the plan to stop it.
