The second hand on the wall clock ticks away, watching it complete a circle quickly, perhaps taking only a minute to cover sixty tick marks.
In the factory, workers soaked in sweat would occasionally lift their heads to look at the wall clock, always complaining that the clock runs too slowly.
Clearly, they feel that they have worked for a long time, their strength is depleted, yet only a few minutes have passed.
Some would even suspect whether the Factory Owner has tampered with the clock to make it run slower than actual time, exploiting and squeezing their labor.
But that's not the case, even though they have verified over and over, that cursed clock has not been tampered with, yet they still complain during work—
"That damn fat guy must have done something to the clock, I swear!"
