As soon as Wen Ran left his bedroom, she dialed Wen Jin's number.
After two rings, Wen Jin's voice came through.
Even over the phone, Wen Ran could sense the concern and worry in his tone. "Ranran, Ziyi just said you had a stomachache and didn't take any medicine. What's going on?"
"Huh?"
Wen Ran was taken aback and then explained, "I've already taken medicine. It might have been the snacks I ate this afternoon. I'm fine now."
"Is Mo Xiuchen on a business trip?"
"Ziyi even told you that." Wen Ran turned and glanced at her son's bedroom door.
Wen Jin's voice remained calm and gentle, "Ziyi said on the phone that his dad cheated during the marriage, took a woman's call, and left you alone at home with a stomachache. He asked me to come over and check on you."
"How could that be?"

"Your stomach has always been bad. Did Mo Xiuchen take you to the hospital?"
