Lu Yinxing blurted out, "Where's Ah Yan?"
Xia Ye didn't answer; his gaze was still fixed on the TV screen.
In that instant, Lu Yinxing suddenly seemed to understand something.
Lu Yinxing said, "Xia Ye, you lied to me? Ah Yan isn't hurt at all, is he?"
Xia Ye's tone also carried a faint, chilly mockery. "I didn't expect that just one casual sentence from me would make you rush back in such a hurry. Looks like that little boy holds quite an important place in your heart."
Lu Yinxing suddenly felt really annoyed.
Today was clearly supposed to be the last dinner gathering with her senior brother.
And it had ended just like that.
Lu Yinxing hadn't even had time to properly say thank you.
Lu Yinxing stood there for a few seconds, her eyes fixed stubbornly on Xia Ye.
The more she looked, the angrier she got.
In the end she couldn't help it; she took off her bag and flung it straight at Xia Ye.
"Xia Ye, how could you do this? You actually lied to me?!"
