Noah communicated with Sam and Tuck while waiting for the other party members to finish their preparations. It was obvious that they all knew each other and didn't seem that willing to befriend people out of their group. Nothing unusual though, especially if they're a part of a guild.
"Alright, remember we're going to split from the group, to enter the shop for Tuck, then test out our combat power before meeting back up. I already told them we wanted to test our power privately before joining up to deal with the monster, so we need to be quick," Noah briefly reminded Sam and Tuck.
The party was ready, and they entered the D rank portal.

Tuck handed in the ability up ticket before saying, "Sam already has fire, so I think it would be best to switch to lightning."
"Alright," Noah said before activating the ticket.

After testing their teamwork and newfound powers, they regrouped with the party.
The party consisted of
two knights (a combination of the attacker and the tank role) with one being Noah
three attackers with two being Noah and Tuck
and 2 supporters
"Welcome back, we just finished some scouting, and we noticed high gathering points for the monster in about a mile in these directions. Once we deal with these spots we'll head to the boss." The knight took charge pretty quickly, showing that he had plenty of experience leading.
"Be on the lookout for a golden portal too, I heard it can upgrade your abilities among other things." One of the supports looked up in surprised while everyone else seemed to show no reaction, almost as if they were told ahead of time.
Reaching the first gathering point, the group prepared before ambushing the creatures. The inhabitants of this portal were Red Rock Eagles. The creatures, about the size of an adult male, y used their connections to earth to help offset their weight to fly. This allows them to fly, but only 30 meters off the ground, skimming the treetops.
Noah and the other knight-initiated combat first.

Hello, this is all I wrote to many years ago to the few who read this, I'm out of school completely now and my idea specifically for this story has become more refined, as a result I want to remake the whole story, but before I even publish the first chapter I want to at least have the first volume done. The story will still be following about the same track as was the original as most changes to the story was for far later arcs, but certain elements like some parts of his powers will be removed or changed. This also allows me to go back and either:
A: add or adjust information given to prevent plot holes that might be present in the story as it is now
B: Remove certain information either because I feel like it isn't needed or to reduce the amount of information I am giving the reader at a time which could ruin the stories flow.
So, I'm happy you like my story and I'll try to get volume 1 of the new one done so you can see what I have plan.
