Although Jin Jiayi is not a direct lineage of the Tianji Clan, he is an extremely important youth prodigy of the clan's young generation, and Chen Tang killing him publicly with one punch is definitely not a trivial matter.
If only Jin Jiayi fell, it would at most infuriate the Tianji Clan. With Chen Tang's background known to Xuanyuan Jue, that wouldn't be considered a huge issue.
But he clearly has a fair understanding of Chen Tang's ways.
Since Jin Jiayi was punched to death, how could he let others go?
The previously spoken words "Today, here, everyone... must die!" were definitely not said in passing. He was serious, completely berserk, ready to unleash a wild storm today.
This was the big event Xuanyuan Jue referred to. If dozens more were killed, it would indeed be a massive incident.
On one hand, as a Supervisory Envoy, brutally killing dozens with such iron-blooded tactics is overly extreme, likely to provoke public panic and pressuring public opinion.
