Sunlight prodded against the shivering cold icicles, melting without thought.
It would seem as if the streams of sunlight stretched out for kilometers. After the encounter with their 'followers', Splinter and Chiara carefully helmed the location. The fresh smell of melted frost icicles permeated the area, and the darkness of the cavern grew over them.
"Are you serious?" Splinter said as he found a faint light blockade. "Dead end. Let's try the left path."
Chiara nodded in agreement, not uttering a word. Both had explored every crevice of the area, hoping to find a stairway to reach the surface. Unfortunately, all they were met with was a simple dead end. Splinter, who looked deeply annoyed, kicked his feet at the unmovable stone, barely leaving a scratch.
"Damn it, ANOTHER dead end," Splinter said with Asahi's voice, deeply frustrated with his brow wrinkling. "What now?"
Chiara remained silent for a few seconds. She paused, taking a little time to recollect how she got here.
