It's now 7:30 AM. I couldn't get not even a pint of sleep. I was up all night thinking about what Shenzeikano told me, about where it came from, and the other shadow fighters that exist in this world. I get up, deciding to go for a walk. I pick out a suit of clothes fit for jogs.
I walk downstairs, telling Mom that I will be going for a walk
Mom said "Okay Shiro, be safe"
"I will. See you soon" I reply
I left the house and began my walk
As I walked, I heard yelling coming from an alleyway.
I was curious to find out what was going on, so I decided to check.
As I entered, I saw a familiar looking entity.
It was a phantom, but it was fighting someone
There is a guy that looks to be around my age, cornered by the phantom.
"Shenzeikano!"
Shenzeikano appears into the air.
I took a tight hold onto the hilt of the blade and jumped into action.
The phantom changes his target and targets me.
"Air shift." I say on instinct
I seemed to shift upwards a little.
As I fall, I take my blade and cut through the phantom.
I land and Shenzeikano disappears.
As I walked over to the guy, he asks: What.. or who are you..
I answered: It's more polite to introduce yourself first.
I help him up on his feet.
He replies, "You're right. My bad."
"My name is Santana and I'm an assassin"
I look at him.
"Cool. My names Shiro and I'm nothing but an ordinary human"
Then I remember something Shenzeikano said about the 4 shadow fighters identities.
"Don't mind if I ask, but are you a shadow fighter?" I blurt out.
Santana replies, "Yeah, I am. I take it that you are one too."
I respond, "Right on the money"
"So what were you doing in this alley anyway"
Santana replies, "Well, I was minding my own business then I heard a scream from the alley"
That sounds familiar
"When I looked, I saw a little girl being attacked by a phantom so I jumped into action, but as you saw, he was a little too tough for me"
I nod and reply.
"It makes sense now. It's actually the same thing that happened to me"
I let out a little chuckle
Santana asks, "Hey, what's so funny"
"Nothing, nothing at all" I reply
"Let's get out of here"
Santana nods and follows behind me.
"I've had enough for today. Time to go home" I say.
Santana says: Alright I'll see you around, stay safe.
As I walk away, Santana yells
"Wait! Let me get your number"
I turn around and nod.
"Alright"
We exchange numbers and then go our separate ways.
I walk home, thinking about everything that happened today.
I can already tell, my life will be getting a whole lot crazier
