As Xixi honestly spilled out everything leaving out Mr Ray but including wearing the ring and about coming from a different dimension, and how exactly she ended up here, she finally paused, looking cautiously at the man trying to gauge his reaction.
Rex had a hint of amusement in his dark eyes. He lifted his eyebrows, clearly pleased with himself, when she seemingly carelessly went on to describe how overpowering, and disgusting Youngzheng was.
He hadn't expected her to end up here even before he had taken action. As much as he didn't believe in fate it seemed nice to see how she was drawn to him quite literally. Even if she wasn't, he would have still made it happen, but it was still a nice bonus.
