Abyssal Big Mouth was a bit bewildered. Ange had just projected himself over, imprinted a mark on its soul, and then left. Before it could figure out what had happened, it immediately felt another node in the Soul Network linking up with it, and then, a tremendous force surged towards it nonstop.
The Soul Network is tower-like, with Ange at the apex, progressively extending downward. There are no direct connections between levels. The Abyssal Big Mouth is an independent level, and Little Fireman is also an independent level. They cannot directly connect souls; they need to pass through Ange first to make contact.
Of course, Ange had opened the Soul Network so they could connect directly, but the power could not be directly projected.
Now, Ange drew a line between it and Little Fireman, allowing not only direct contact but also the direct projection of power.
An endless stream of power projected over, condensing into a small point at the center, rapidly intensifying.
