The Star Mover had a lot of questions surrounding him. In their previous conversation, Anthony merely brushed the surface without delving deeper into extracting information, as the timing wasn't right, and he was concerned about arousing the Star Mover's suspicion.
Extracting information is all about timing. If someone is anxious and upset, ready to be led out, and you try to extract information, you'll likely end up getting beaten up, what else could happen? If you aren't familiar with someone, trying to extract information would only put them on alert, yielding nothing of value.
Only when the other person has a desire to express, or when they have a request from you, is extracting information most likely to succeed.
Now that the Star Mover has a request, his desire to talk would surge in response, and asking some sensitive questions won't put him on alert anymore.
