“Aito, honey,” she said gently, unable to watch them like that anymore. “Come sit next to me. I want to hold you.”
Aito glanced at his mum just once and immediately shook his head. “I’m fine here, mum.”
Mrs Yamamoto’s heart sunk into her stomach. Her baby boy didn’t even hesitate.
Aito was annoyed. First, Ryu's dad kept staring at him like he was all the evil in the world and now his mum was giving Ryu all sorts of looks. He didn't want to be near any of them. He wanted to stay exactly where he was, next to his boyfriend. Besides, the idea of standing up and walking across the room right now was not appealing in the slightest. His body still ached from all the pounding yesterday and the leather couch he was sitting on did nothing to help.
