Calibri University;
Inside a small building with the words 'Bluebell Hall' labeled outside, three people were in the common area staring at each other.
"What a coincidence!" Leo exclaimed.
"Yeah it is. When I met you earlier, I never imagined you would be my rogue roommate." Mage agreed.
"Well this way, there won't be any worries of not getting along with each other." Tris looked at the two boys across him. He had been sitting by himself earlier, waiting for either one of his two known dorm mates to return, when instead the door was opened by an unfamiliar redhead who introduced himself as Leo, his new dorm mate. The redhead had immediately struck up a conversation with him and wouldn't stop commenting on how he was the most awesome person to have as a dorm mate.
Just when Tris was about to find an excuse to escape from this chat-box, the door was opened again, and this time Mage walked in. He was extremely delighted at this, and stood up to give Mage an over-enthusiastic welcome when Mage suddenly froze at the sight of the new dorm mate. Then like something out of a second rate movie, they both exclaimed at the same time, "What are you doing here?!"
A few minutes after that, with Mage and Leo both telling Tris about their encounter with each other, Tris was brought up to speed with the situation and couldn't help but smile at the coincidence.
"Well this way there won't be any worries of not getting along with each other." Tris said.
"What about 'Mr. Serial Killer'?" Mage asked.
"Uhh… am sure he's a nice person… deep down." Even Tris was not convinced of his words.
"Who are you guys talking about?" Leo was curious.
"Our other dorm mate. He's a bit…" Tris paused, looking for the right word to describe the person question.
"Creepy," Mage supplied.
Tris immediately nodded, "Yes, Creepy. You can say that."
Leo was intrigued by this description, "Oh, What's his name?"
Mage turned to look at Tris. 'Mr. Serial killer' had barely spoken two sentences to him when they met, so he hadn't caught his name. He wondered if Tris knew.
"He did tell me his name, I think it was… Quinn." Tris rubbed his jaw.
On hearing the name, Leo almost slipped from his chair and Mage was visibly shocked with his mouth wide enough to fit an egg. Seeing his dorm mates' abnormal reaction, Tris asked, "What? What's wrong?"
"Haven't you seen the rankings?" Mage asked in disbelief.
"No, why?" Tris shook his head.
"… Because, sitting at No.1 on the rankings list is a guy named Quinn." Leo explained.
"And I don't think it's another coincidence. They are definitely the same person." Mage added.
Tris whistled, "Wow, I can't believe that guy's so awesome. Haha, as expected of our dorm mate. It's natural for him to be number one." He boasted.
Mage and Leo rolled their eyes at Tris' shamelessness. Who was the one calling him creepy just a moment ago?
"Anyways, are you guys going to the party?" Leo asked.
"What party?" Mage replied, puzzled.
Leo cocked his head, "You don't know? Some dude is throwing a party tonight. Sort of like a welcome party, everyone was talking about it earlier. How could you guys not know?"
"I came back here immediately after I got eliminated." Tris gave an excuse.
"Uhh… What time's the party?" Mage skillfully evaded the question.
"Eight." Leo responded.
"There's still three hours before then. How do we pass the time?"
Leo rummaged inside one of the bags he had entered with, and brought out two controllers. "Do any of you play?" He asked with a smile.
