When Fang Shuyuan heard the three voices, his face went pale with terror. He stiffly turned his head, wanting to see who had arrived.
"Don't bother looking. You couldn't beat us anyway, so what's the point? Trying to become a fan?" the raspy voice said.
As the voice rang out, Fang Shuyuan could tell the speaker's tone was light, even managing to crack a joke. Yet, he could clearly feel a murderous intent locked tightly onto him.
He was certain that if he turned back, he would be instantly decapitated!
Immediately after, the middle-aged woman's voice chimed in, "We're just here to persuade you to give up, Family Head Fang. There's no need to be afraid."
They were obviously using a carrot-and-stick approach, ensuring Fang Shuyuan was both intimidated and unwilling to harbor secret resentment.
