The sudden flaring of the Yellow Fog was not something Alex had done of his own accord. For the first time in a long time, the Yellow Fog had reacted on its own. His body had reacted on its own.
'What's happening?' Alex thought. 'The Yellow Fog is only supposed to appear when something foreign is within me that needs to be purged. But I sensed nothing.'
Alex took half a second to get his thoughts in order, and while he didn't really know what had happened, he knew one thing. He trusted his body more than he did his senses at the moment. Which meant there really was something foreign inside his mind right then.
That could only mean one thing.
"What are you trying to do?" Alex asked.
Suddenly, Yang flowed out of his body, covering him in a layer that made all external senses and energy burn away before they could reach him.
The Mind God reacted with stark surprise.
"Interesting," he said slowly.
