Alex sat down and continued looking in the direction of the Gods. So many of them were there, some looking toward him, some lost in their own conversations.
The Artifact God, Shen Yaojia, gave him a nod when she saw him.
The Alchemy God, Whitesong, smiled slightly, sending him some words of encouragement with his Divine Sense.
The Beast God, Soulmother, sat toward the back, behind whom was Flamestride. Both of them turned toward him and smiled. Flamestride even made a fist, telling him to fight as best as he could.
The Wine God, Moonspirit, turned to look toward him a second later, smiling gently. He seemed to have words to say, but he kept them all to himself for the moment.
The Saber God, Swiftcleave, was deep in conversation with a man that Alex didn't recognize at first at all. He was a man of small stature but a muscular build. There was a red scar on the left side of his face that went down to his chin. He had bushy hair and a thick, unkempt beard.
