Reaching his hand out, he only felt a slight vibration around the space around him.
The black liquid was everywhere. It felt tangible yet not..
The more he struggled to get out the more he felt lost...
As if he was fading out of existence..

He frantically tried to resist it and it worked!
The dark void around him stopped and let him regain some of his clarity.
Looking around all he could see was darkness.
No....in fact, there was nothing to see at all.
He was in the void. With nothing to do, he roamed around in constant random motion looking at matter materialize and fade out of existence.
This continued for a long time until he felt a frequency around him.
The empty void that should have been intangible was actually brushing past his body. He couldn't touch it but he could sense it.
Spreading his consciousness, he tried imitating the frequency around him. The moment he connected, all he heard was silence.
'If it's silent then why is there a frequency?'
Thinking such he tried to change his method. Instead of trying to match the rhythm, he opposed it just enough for it to be out of phase.

Getting out of the cave I was greeted with the starry night sky. How long had it been since I last basked in sunlight.
The chakra and aura in me are still relentlessly neutralizing the curse. It's reached the point where I can barely feel anything other than a strand of it.
I should've already burned up on the second day I was turned into a demon and went out during daylight. Fortunately my vitality kept me alive.
Regardless, it's not a pretty sight to see someone constantly turning to ash and growing new skin.
If not for this demonic body of mine, I would've led a peaceful life working my way to become a police and collect bribes from every passerby like a good police should!
Still the boon in strength is quite welcoming. My abnormally high regeneration already got turned up several notches and my strength should be somewhat comparable to garp.
The only complain I have is that I can't seem to remember by name anymore. Fortunately I have a new name now given to me by someone special!

Apparently I got turned two days after my marriage. We never saw each other before marriage so I didn't feel any guilt taking the wife of my previous owner.
Her persistence to stay by her husband even though he's a demon is still quite shocking to me. I thought she would run away screaming for help once she saw me as a demon.
But instead of running away she sat down with a red face and requested me to not abandon her.
I was very suspicious of her behavior but after looking through her memories and finding nothing I figured that it was the culture of the Heian period.
Either that or she awakened a demon fetish....
