Su Ye stared for what felt like an eternity. She could barely resist the urge to touch them.
She forced herself to look away, turning her gaze to the ugly little black flower in the center.
The sight instantly quelled the urge.
Yin Zhan noticed Su Ye staring at his head and realized why.
He lowered his head, clutching the pastries, and didn't take another bite.
Keeping her eyes on the Golden Crow, Su Ye asked,
"You can't eat sweets?"
Yin Zhan shook his head. After a moment of silence, he said,
"I like them."
Hearing his short reply, Su Ye immediately understood.
"You like them, but eating sweets makes your dragon horns appear?"
Yin Zhan nodded.
"Mhm."
After holding back for three seconds, Su Ye tossed aside the Golden Crow vine she was holding.
She turned, her eyes fixed on the dragon horns on Yin Zhan's head.
"Can I touch your horns?"
Yin Zhan paused, taken aback by her words.
