Such was the case for Su Ye at this very moment.
Su Ye had completely forgotten about her plan to hunt, her mind solely focused on picking the Ganoderma grass.
She had never seen Ganoderma grass grow so well—it was in vast, mature patches. Even if she bought some from an apothecary, it would be considered the finest quality.
Ever since she began trying to refine a Pill made from a mixture of Zamioculcas and Ganoderma grass, she still hadn't quite gotten the knack for it.
As a result, she needed large quantities of Ganoderma grass and Zamioculcas for the refining process.
Su Ye's spirits were high as she picked her way forward.
As she was gathering, she heard a faint, piercingly sharp sound from up ahead.
That sound was accompanied by cries of pain and a woman's scream.
"Aaaah!"
A man's voice followed.
"We can't kill it! Run!"
As the voice faded, the sound of footsteps approached from directly in front of Su Ye.
