Su Qing looked at Su Ye, puzzled.
"What scroll?"
Su Ye could see he genuinely didn't seem to know about the Ancient Scroll.
But the Jade Pendant had definitely lit up.
She couldn't resist reaching out and started rummaging around in his sleeve, hoping to pull something out.
She muttered as she rummaged.
"It's a scroll."
'How would I know what kind of scroll it is? I've never even seen it.'
And so, Su Ye kept patting him down until her fair hand slipped inside his inner robe.
Su Qing froze. He lowered his gaze, watching the hand that delved relentlessly into his clothes.
He slowly drew her into his embrace and murmured,
"Benefactor, do you really think I would stuff the scroll inside my undergarments?"
Su Ye, feeling a little awkward, slowly withdrew her hand.
She was puzzled.
'How can it not be here?'
The Jade Pendant in her hand was flashing brightly. Su Ye scanned his entire body with it, trying to pinpoint what was making it glow so intensely.
