As she finished speaking, Yin Zhan picked up the wine jug, pried open Bai Xin's mouth, and continued to pour its contents down her throat.
He didn't stop until Bai Xin had nothing left to vomit, only spitting up clear liquid.
Her face was pale, completely drained of color.
Su Ye glanced at her, then at the stunned crowd, and said calmly,
"After a Poison Pill is refined, it's usually coated in a layer of sugar.
This is done so the dying person doesn't suffer as much.
The poison is extremely potent. The reason it takes an hour to kill is that the Pill cannot release its toxicity immediately upon entering the body."
"She had it in her stomach for less than the time it takes an incense stick to burn. She should have thrown it all up."
With that, her gaze shifted to the envoy in the distance.
The envoy's face was ashen, his expression incredibly foul.
He gritted his teeth.
"Where did this young lady come from? She's full of petty tricks."
