"You will come with me to my kingdom, as my concubine." His firm and assertive tone obviously advised me to not argue any further but my strong spirit refused to act submissive to this man.
"I am the princess of this very kingdom, Your Highness. What makes you think that I'll come with you as a mere concubine and tarnish my own kingdom, just like that?" His brown eyes shone in rage as mine did with determination.
He took long strands and in just a moment, he was right in front of me. His tall height made me feel like a cornered bunny but I fought against the resistance to avert my eyes.
