Noah thought he had gone mad, or he was in some sort of illusion. Unfortunately, his eyes confirmed to him that he wasn't. Still, sparks gathered around him as he backed up with hypersonic speed.
He felt himself move through a distance, but the moment he came to a stop…

It happened again. There she was, in front of him, expression blank, as her eerie golden eyes remained fixed on him with a persistence that felt unending.
"Running won't be able to get you away from me," the woman revealed in a tone that sounded slightly amused.
Noah's eyes widened, however, and he didn't know when his legs moved again; he was about to push himself to his maximum speed when he remembered the two persons on his shoulders. He could potentially worsen their states if he did.
Still, that didn't stop him from running, yet after running for a while, he came to a stop, only to discover it again, to his horror.
